Chase Bank currently offers a wide variety of deposit accounts, including savings, checking, money market and CDs.

Savings Accounts

One popular savings option offered by Chase Bank is Chase Savings. Some features and requirements of Chase Savings include:

  • Earn variable interest rate
  • 6 withdrawals allowed per month
  • $4 monthly fee waived if account maintains $300 minimum daily balance (or a qualifying transfer is made in the Automatic Savings Program, or if the saver is under 18 years old).

  • Interest is compounded and credited monthly

Chase also offers Chase Plus Savings as a deposit option.

Checking Accounts

Chase Total Checking is the bank’s base-level checking account for adults. Some fees and requirements of the account include:

How to Open Account

All Chase accounts, with the exception of the Chase Retirement Money Market Account, can be opened via the bank’s website (the money market account must be opened at a branch location).

In order to open most accounts, you will need:

FDIC Insurance and Coverage

All Chase deposit accounts (including checking, savings, CDs and money market accounts) are insurance through the FDIC for up to $250,000 per depositor, per account.

Chase Bank offers a number of customer service options, including contacting the bank via phone to open an account or receiving help for existing accounts, sending an email to have a representative communicate back in this format or sending inquiries via snail mail. The bank also recommends that customers visit a branch location for assistance.

Security
